3750 Interfaces

I have a quick question concering the Cisco Catalyst 3750G-24TS-E. I was told by colleague that the 3750 will accept a DS3(45Mbps) input from a local service provider to route the traffic to the Internet. Looking at the 3750 documentation, it looks like the 3750 accepts only

10/100/1000 ethernets interfaces. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Correct. The 3750 is a L3 switch and is Ethernet-only. Perhaps he was thinking of the 3745

Marco- Thanks for the feedback.

I just have a follow up question. Does anyone know if the Cisco 3750 SFP ports are MSA compliant? I noticed that there are T3 SFPs (MSA-compliant)manufactured by other manufactures but I am not sure if they would be compatible Cisco equipment.

Thanks.
