HI all. I have a Cisco 1711 which I have been using for some time with my existing internet connection. I have decide to go with a new ADSL internet connection and so wondered if I can still make use of the 1711 by removing the existing fixed WIC-1AM card (I have carefully removed the studs) and replacing it with a WIC-1ADSL. I know this would be an unsupported configuration but don't really care as it is just for home use. On boot I get the error

I have tried upgrading the IOS to the latest and greatest currently running c1700-k9o3sy7-mz.124-2.T1.bin and have tried several other images but still no go. Am I wasting my time trying to get this to work? I thought that it was probably just the same the 1720 inside. Any help much appreciated and save me buying another router!
