Frances is 200 miles away and my cable is already out. (Data and TV) It went out an hour before Charley came ashore and stayed out over a week. Satellite is sure looking good to me.

The question I am asking myself. I just don't think Time Warner will be any better and I can't get DSL here
How would you know TW wouldn't be any better if you hadn't used it. My Road Runner connection has been down less than an hour in the past
2 years. And even then, often some services were available.
Obviously it is a local sucking problem.
For me, Comcast has been out exactly once in the last 2.5 years. The one time there was no electricity from here to New York. The experts blame First Energy for that one.
