"This is what metaphor is. It is not saying that an ant is an elephant.
Perhaps; both are alive. No. Metaphor is saying the ant is an elephant.
Now, logically speaking, I know there is a difference. If you put
elephants and ants before me, I believe that every time I will correctly
identify the elephant and the ant. So metaphor must come from a very
different place than that of the logical, intelligent mind. It comes
from a place that is very courageous, willing to step out of our
preconceived ways of seeing things and open so large that it can see the
oneness in an ant and in an elephant." --Natalie Goldberg

I can think of other methods to defeat systems.  That said, I
think the article was irresponsible because there is some truth to at
least three of the methods they list.

Watch this space for burglars to ask about TLM's and the kind of contacts
that can be defeated.  Most are not sophisticated enough to setup a GSM
cell, or get into the space to aim an IR beam at the PIR (which I highly
doubt the success rate is anywhere close to practical, just a proof of
concept by some idiot that wants to look smart).

I was halfway expecting the article to say to wrap yourself in Mylar.
That wouldn't work with dual-tech's!  You all *do* use dual-tech's
