vpi/vci question...

In italy we use PPPoA with vpi/vci (8,35) with every ISP. In DSLAM the ATM switch change these values? or how is it possible to demultiplex traffic between every user? Thanks in advance.

Yes, the DSLAM changes the VPI/VCI value. Think of the DSLAM as a big ATM switch that maps in and out various VPI/VCI values. While all the ports have 8,35 facing out to the CPE, back to the network, they'll get mapped into something else, (ie. 32/32 for port 0/1, 32/33 for port 0/1, etc. etc.). Just part of the config setup of the DSLAM.
