wireless security question

Turn on encryption. If you can, use WPA; if you cannot, use WEP. Only restricting access to certain MAC addresses is problematic because it is possible for someone to determine some of those MAC addresses and to then pretend to be one of those MAC addresses.

As Yves stated, enable encryption. That's the only way to be sure. Use WPA if you have it. If not, use WEP, but change your passphrase periodically.
