uninstall wireless card...

Jan 10, 2008 1 Replies

Hi there,

I have a notebook with an integrated wireless card, but the card doesn't work anymore. So I bought a new wireless card. The problem is that I can't uninstall the old wireless card definetly and both cards together makes my pc crash every time. Every time I want to install the new card, the old one reinstalls itself again. I even tried to delete the driver for the old card, but it reappears also every time. So if anyone has an idea how i could get rid of the old integrated wireless card without having to open the notebook, please tell me...

Thanks in advance!

Try:

  1. Disabling the old card in Device Manager
  2. Checking your owner's manual to see if you can turn off the old card.
