How can the various internet speed test show such high speeds when my ipad or laptop is only connected at 3-5 Mbs? Shouldn't the slowest link throttle the overall speed figures to at least that or below that level?

Perhaps...
- Your wireless connection uses data compression;
- The Internet speed test uses data which can be compressed.
