I've an Atheros AR5005G WLAN in my Acer 9302 notebook. Network Stumbler gives a message "No wireless adapter found".
In the menu>Device the adapter nework adapter is seen but it's displayed in a grey text.
I'm running Vista. How can I solve this problem? Do I have to get additional software?

Netstumber doesn't work under Vista.
You might wanna try this trick: start -> run -> cmd netsh (you should get a netsh> prompt) wlan show network (simple output) wlan show networks mode=bssid (all the good info) exit
Not exactly Netstumbler, but much quicker.
