Interesting antenna

From another list, they suspect this odd antenna is used for Moto Canopy.

I've noticed Canopy "dongles" on ebay. I'm surprised nobody has made a Canopy sniffer. I know the data is well encrypted, but it would be useful to be able to see if there is Canopy running where you are trying to set up wifi. I guess when the dust settles, the only really bullet proof way to see what frequencies are clear is with a spectrum analyzer, though you can still get fooled if the offending system doesn't run 24 and 7.
