Hello there to all. I have here a wireless network that is using all c54apm as cliente and as ap but now i would like to improve my network for higher ranges and also for better perfomances since im not very happy with the c54apm. For improve range i changed my 8dbi omni antenna to a 15 dbi omni antena and now i would like to change my ap. I have heard that cisco aironet 1231 is a great model but i would like to know your opinions. would this get me great ranges using the 15dbi antena? also there are several versions like A, E and others. wich one is best to use?
