High gain antennas health problems?

Were you planning on pointing it at anywhere inhabited? Such directional antennas are only dangerous in the direction they are pointed. The RF levels are MUCH less outside the main beam lobe.

Plugging into the first one yields 0.313 ft for a 100mw xmitter. I think you're safe at any position or location.

most antrennas broadcast a vertical signal horizontally from the antenna ( horizontally if the antenna is a vertical rod)

therefore the amount of downward transmission (if you're under it) is negligible - yes you will pick it up but most of the signal will go sideways above you, only slowly dipping to earth.

As a Radio Ham, I frequently radiate hundreds of watts (not hundreths from wifi) from antennas above my head ---- no way would I if there were any risk whatsoever.

Provided the antenna is above you or at least a couple of meters away if level with you - there should be little chance of a problem

However, if you feel your genital getting warmed up - move the antenna

I know that sounds odd but the genitals are very sensitive to wireless heating effects - if you take notice of them - its noticeable with a wireless notebook on you lap.
