Why not just connect with a cable for the firmware upload? Anyway, the TEW-510APB - I have one, can't remember the exact firmware version though - does support WDS Access Point/Bridge, AP Client and Repeater modes.

The distance from notebook to TEW-510 is in range of 20 meters, but TEW-510 is 50-60 meters from SE555. I must use outside panel antenna to have better connection between TEW-510 and SE555, because I do not have LOS between this two device.
