I wouldn't bother with any third party toolbars as they lead to advertising opportunities for companies and privacy issues. Firefox is OK but nothing special as Internet Explorer also has popup stoppers.
Internet Explorer has 19 unpatched holes in it. The spyware coders love IE users.
