D Link and netgear working together

Your are correct in the fact that aps dont talk to each other, many repeaters only talk to other aps of the same brand (dlink mentions this on their site) aka this repeater only works with such and such dlink ap. This may be your case. My suggestion is " to buy products of the same brand" for repeaters, bridges etc.

thanks for your time.

I tried to use the dlink as repeater and it is bullshit. so i tried to

use it as an ap but i dont succed in having him talk with the other AP.

It looks like both aps wont just talk together. I tried different SSIDs

and channels but nada.

I am a bit stuck and dont know what to do ??

thnks & bests

What would happen if you configured one of your APs as an AP Client? By entering the MAC address of the other AP, would they not communicate? I have a couple of D-Link DWL2100APs and it works for me.
