Trying to set up my first simple network. Win 2k OS I bought adsl router and network card - installed on 2 machines and can access internet OK but I can't get the two machines to link together. If I open Explorer I can see the workgroup on both machines
Main machine identifies correct two users but says second user not accessible.
second macine does not see main user.
Am I trying to achiev something that is not possible with modem/router or is it just a set-up problem ?
Is there a link to "idiots guide for setting up network" ?
Any advice gratefully received
