Nortel PT390 and Bellsouth

I have come across a Nortel PT390 phone branded USWest. I plug the phone in, I get a ringtone and the phone works but nothing comes up on the display. I am on a Bellsouth residental line. Is their any sort of programming I need to do, or Bellsouth will need to do to make the phone work.

Any input would be appricated!

Do you have the wall wart for the phone too?

Pardon my ignorance, but I am not sure what that is. But, all I have is the phone, and the cords.

The wall wart is the plugin power supply to power the display. The phone may have the requirements written on it so you can look for a replacement unit or, you could try a NORTEL dealer and see if you can buy one.
