Is there a cell provider out there that will allow you to have multiple phone numbers, from different area codes, on the same phone? I've recently relocated for work but I want to keep my old # and get a new # in the area code I'm in now.

Most cell phone carriers will allow you to have two numbers on your phone. The catch is you have to pay for two rate plans. The industry term is having mulitple NAMs.
Nextel used to permit this for an extra fee. Not sure if they still do.
As for other carriers, most don't offer this anymore. The next best thing is to get two separate phones with seperate numbers, sharing minutes off of a family/group minute plan.
And switch between them. One at a time, please..
It IS stoopid. They should learn from Vonage....
