Hi.
I have a problem with a simpel version of the ADPCM algoritm. The algoritm uses a simple lookup table as predictor.
The bandwith is 0Hz to 8Khz. The problem accures when the sound to be compressed contains 's' sounds, white noise like.
I think the predictor are having trouble following the signal, thereby generating a large error.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
