The site "Downdetector.com" has a map that shows general areas of Verizon outages. I was looking for info on what preparations Verizon is making for the storm now approaching North Carolina, but it seems that the majority of those voicing complaints are much further north.
Of course, since I moved south of the Mason-Dixon line (does that still exist?), I've been more concerned with icy roads here in the hills, but I still wince at the thought of all that snow and all those trees from the ice storms we had in Boston during the early 2000's.
I'm going out to buy gasoline and kerosene. Stay tuned.
