Before anyone suggests that I get paid to sell the shares short and bash CenturyLink let me put all of that to rest. First, I am a CenturyLink shareholder and have been for several years. Second, in
20+ years of investing I've never shorted a stock once. With that out of the way, I'm reconsidering my position in the company. When your original thesis for a company's future success starts to look doubtful, it's time to take a fresh look at what you own. Unfortunately, there are at least three warning signs that suggest CenturyLink's future isn't as bright as I once hoped.
