REXBURG, ID - CenturyLink customers' internet and telephone service was restored about 48 hours after the company's fiber was cut on Thursday.
In all, 4,200 internet lines were disrupted in Rexburg. Of that number
126 people in Ririe were without "dial tone service."
"They spliced new fiber in where it was cut. When it all came back up, it all came back up (at the same time). It took it time to process," said CenturyLink's Market Development Manager Megan Griffin.
