Do you know to which changes I was referring?
Do you know to which changes I was referring?
Recently? Try 2004
Nope. They now support HA with the P3200 (again). They had dropped HA support for a while but recently brought it back.
One could assume since the subject was X10 then the changes would have been about......X10
Shot in the dark anyway
Well see there's the problem, the conversation was about the P816
The point is they make changes. There are four possibilities:
Then again, you insist that there is no #4 so... :^)
Possible but doubtful in my opinion
Very likely considering all the changes companies make to their panels
Possible but thats easy to verify by looking at a V10 installation manual which I'm sure you must have
I doubt that since I think #2 was accurate
How can I tell what revision of the GEM-P816 I have? I see they are now up to revision 11. The system was installed about 2 months ago, but that doesn't tell me that it's necessarily the latest revision?
How can I tell what eversion it is? Do I need the dealer code?
Also, is upgrading this as simple as a firmware upgrade that can be flashed onto the device (or a PROM chip replacement)? If it is upgradable via either method, will I lose the panel configuration or is that configuration stored elsewhere and maintained during an upgrade? Or is it locked into the panel and not upgradable?
Thanks, Ken
It's handwritten on the chip
Eventually you will
