Prisons are big business. The drug dealers get rich selling drugs and the government gets rich with their supposed war on drugs. Think of how many government fat cats would be out of a job if drug use stopped. There is no war on drugs.

And this "neat" idea of collecting taxes will be circumvented some how and it will only increase crime since all these new addicts have to find a way to get money for the now legal drugs.
The only good thing is more people will get security alarms
