Am looking for a shaker for bed (on headboard or under pillow) for elderly and deaf customer. Need to vibrate when phone rings (central station calling) or door bell rings (police/firemen at door).

Have looked on line, lots of stuff/vibrating alarm clocks, strobes, loud sounds, etc. Any suggestions for decent products you might recommend.

Thanks. Charlie

There are alarm bells that have an reciprocating plunger that strikes the dome. The dome of the bell could be removed and use the oscillating plunger to strike a metal plate on the bed frame or whatever. These usually operate at 12 or 24 volts.
