Package Tracking

Does anyone know of a package tracking device/service that would use something similar to pager technology so that a package in transit could send a heartbeat every 15 to 30 minutes to the paging network, and the vendor providing the service could use the location of the receiving tower to give an approximate location for the package? Notifications could be sent to the package sender or receiver then by e-mail every time the location changes.

That depends on how large the package is. There are systems currently being used to track shipping containers the size of a tractor trailer.

The Bulldog website wasn't very good at communicating the product, but I called them up and it's a great product. I really appreciate the recommendation!
