Old 1290 Control Panel?

Nov 16, 2005 6 Replies

I am helping a friend with an alarm system. The control panel says Model 1290. It is a 1980s vintage system and is no longer monitored by telephone.

The control panel is in a box labeled NSS, but I do not know the manufacturer of the control board. Another box contains a Moose siren driver and a Pac-A-DaP shock control.

Are any manuals available for the 1290 unit?

Isn't that the unit that you had to wind up? ;-)

Man that's an oldie!

2 zones?...or am I thinking of the 1215? maybe time for a remodel eh?

Think FBII made a 1290 model but it came in a yellow can.

Paul,

Back in the early 80's there was a FBI 1290 panel. I have no idea where you'd find a manual for it though.

I emailed you the manual.

Yah...it ran on rubber bands and a tape dialer that usually spewed it's loop out onto the floor.
