Hi, I would like to build a low tech alarm system. Is there any 12 V Motion Detector with normally open (NO) relay. Preferably the easily available brand like DSC. Thank you herman

Look for any motion with form "c" relay.
Most mfgs make a cheaper version with just NC and one with form "c" which is common, open, closed.
Use a low current relay to oeprate your alarm device triggered byt he motion. The contacts in the motion relay can't handle much current.
