What low-end/high-end DVRs have you found to be reliable with customer-friendly applications? What manufacturers have you been disappointed with? Who has the best technical support?
We've used Ever-Focus and Integral (First Line) with mixed results. Looking for something that's simple enough to allow customers to capture video on their own when needed. (So far, Integral's 500 looks like a good solution for high-end).

Tempest Micro systems makes makes a low end DVR with nice features seems reliable so far.
Are you looking at a standalone, or PC-based system? How many cameras?
Something like this makes a decent starter PC-based system:
Genie do a 4 channel DVR around the =A3400 mark. I can't remember the model of it, and its not on their website. I remember thinking it was excellent value for money as it included ethernet and other features you wouldn't come to expect at that price. I have sold a few of these in the past and had very good feedback from installers. May be worth a call to Genie??
