Any one use the combo smoke / CO detectors? Any pros or cons? Got a new construction that is inquiring about them. Saw some at the distributor but have not tried them. Don't suppose they come in 2 wire config? Huh? TIA

I have used the kidde one in a residence with 120 vac 9 volt back up daizy chained with the rest of the smokes and gotten good reults
Thanks for the info. That is good to read. The ones I saw at the dist I only glanced at but I thought they hooked to an alarm panel. May have been mistaken. Was looking toward ones that would hook to alarm panel if anyone has expeience with them I would like to read about it..
to my knowledge they ony make them seperate for fire panels as they general want the co sounded sperate from the fire signal to central station.
you are correct oh great one. the detectors I saw were 120V. my bad.
