Changeover night

Jun 15, 2005 6 Replies

  1. Do mention the district govenor, he/she will like that
  2. Try not to get too drunk and throw food
  3. Try not to vomit on the other presidents wives
  4. Don't hog all of the celery sticks at the buffet, its rude

Other than that you should be okay

Boy, did you come to the wrong place. js

Im after some protocols for a changeover night.

Im going to be the Toastmaster for my very first time and it happens to coincide with our clubs changeover night. There will be two other clubs sharing the night.

My question is

When I first introduce the night, do I make special mention of the presidents of the other clubs, the district govenor etc. What is the general procedure

Any help appreciated

Paul

Oops, wrong newsgroup, sorry

I would wait until the wives start dancing on the tables and stripping...then all bets are off. :)

I think the first thing you do is look straight at the district governor and say, "I'm not good with names. Mind if I call you f$*#head?"
