Ademco compatiblility question

Is a 5809 rate of rise heat detector compatible with a 5881EN receiver? The detector says for use with QED panels only. I find no reference to "QED" in the Vitsa 15P manual nor in the receiver manual.

It'll work, QED was a method of programming added originally to old Vista-10SE, Some of that QED stuff stems from the old lawsuit from ITI.
