I have several questions on the NTJT29xx subscriber Svc card used in the Service Edge 5500 routers:
- There are versions of this card with and without 3DES encryption. Can you use the 3DES cards without using the encryption feature, and are they perfect substitutes when used that way for the cards that do not include the
3DES feature?- What is the difference between the SSM and SSM II card designs? Can a SSM II card be used as a substitute for the SSM, turning off any advanced features?
- For the NTJT29CA card, what is the feature difference between the HECI IPC2MML and IPC23ML? Apparently the IPC23ML has some desirable feature in it but I cannot get a clear description of what that is from Telecordia.
