I have a CICS with 6.0 software. I would like to put Line 2 on hold for long periods of time, so I can talk on Line 1 without interuption, if I'm alone in the office.
I tried putting Line 2 on hold. It eventually rang back and ultimately released itself from the CICS. I tried starting a phone call by dialing the prefix digits, then laying the phone on the desk. Eventually, it also cleared itself and became available.
Is there any way to do this?
