We have been struggling with changing the password on the switch. We have:
LD 17
REQ CHG
TYPE CFN
PWD YES PWD 2 (WE ENTER THE 2ND LEVEL PASSWORD AND IT COMES UP WITH PWD 2 AGAIN.
COULD YOU GIVE US THE CORRECT LD IF NOT LD 17 AND THE COMPLETE STEPS TO GET THIS CHANGED?

Are you sure you know the level 2 password. Try and log on with the level
1 password then log out try and log on with the level 2 password and log out.Log in go to ld 22 and do a prt on pwd it will ask for the level 2 password try it and it will print all passwords if that password doesn't work try the other one. It is possible that there are more than two passwords on the switch and you don't have the "real" level 2 password. A lot of vendors don't give their customers the level 2 password.LD 17 REQ CHG TYPE PWD PWD2 xxx enter PWD2
