It?s always a great idea to start plotting your design on a blank piece of paper. Roughly sketch the room out, working with the size and shape you have. Next, go ahead and dream a little and then pencil in where you?d like your TV and/or your chairs and sofa to go. If you?re able to spend quite a bit of money, then you might be able to dream bigger?such as adding in real-life theater seats or even vending or soda machine. You?d be surprised how much people really do want to mock the movie-going experience!



Ok, now that you?ve dreamed a little, let?s go ahead and think about some of the practicalities of installing your own home theater room. First, you?re going to have to think about a video screen.
