I have set multiple USB cameras around the house. Many of them came with software to record time-lapse video. Unfortunately they record only specific cameras.
What I am looking for is (preferably free) time-lapse or similar software that could cycle between capture devices and save to individual JPG's or make an AVI.
This may be overkill for what you are asking for but take a look at ZoneMinder. It's a full open-source DVR application.
I forgot to mention I am running win2000.
Some old but possibly useful for a DIY time lapse cam setup. USB cams are generally not the best for multicam surveillance. Analog cams are much easier to work with.
