I'm a newbie to home automation but was wondering if there are any products that would allow me to have my roadrunner connected PC at home on and monitor my home or remotely turn on devices through my work PC or my cellphone? thanks!

If you are looking for cheap, you can use the apache web server and an x10 firecracker to control stuff, and most any webcam program to have video.
