WAG54G ADSL Gateway firmware

I know this has been raised many times but I am totally confused re the firmware updates for my WAG54G-UK ADSL Gateway. It is V1.2 and I believe this matters.

ACcording to what I can find it has :

Gateway software 1.01.6 (this is also shown as the firmware version in the blue text banner?) Wireless firmware 1.0.4.3

The only firmware update applicable to the UK WAG54G version on the linksys website is 1.00.19??

I am not sure to what this relates and when I applied it in 'blind hope' it crashed half way through and I had to restore the factory default and set everything back up again.

Help

Point, mine is:

Blue banner shows: Firmware Version 1.02.1

Status Local Network page shows: Software Version 1.02.1, Apr 27 2004 Status Wireless shows: Wireless Firmware Version 1.0.4.3

Not immediately sure which hardware version.

According to:

WAG54G - Wireless-G ADSL Gateway

Firmware Date : 12/18/2004 Firmware File Size : 3.7MB Firmware Version : 1.00.19

Which links to:

I am not sure whether the V2 refers to V1.2 hardware, or what.

doesn't look to have

1.02.1, but does go up to:

WAG54G_AnnexA_ETSI_v1.02.7_03_code.bin 887 KB 12/11/2004 00:00:00

The last zip:

WAG54G_AnnexA_ETSI_v1.02.5_07_code.zip

says:

But obviously 1.02.7 is probably a Beta at best.

If you want to investigate, then start working through:

I am not immediately sure where I got 1.02.1, sorry.

Perhaps the latest production code on is: WAG54G_AnnexA_firmware.zip, which appear to contain v1.00.7 , but it is a bit difficult to tell.

You might want to try asking here:

or here:

But make sure you get EU Annexe A.
