Sorry, I meant to say Help needed with Atguard

Hi all,

I just upgraded one of my computers to win2k. I am still using atguard and love it. I am having a problem with port 135 (epmap) I am told that epmap is in fact port 135.

I have written rules for both 135 and epmap forbidding in or out traffic.

It keeps listening and then hooks up inbound through various ports.

All the connectioins are from various folks from my isp (1st.net) they dump TFTP files into my system32 folder. When this happens, my RPC goes wild and uses up over half of my cpu even though there isn't any activity on my modem. It keeps going even after I disconnect.

My antivirus(AVG) nor Ad-aware do not pickup on this one.

Does anyone know of the correct rule for this in atguard?

I didn't have this problem with 98se

Any thoughts? Regards George
