I am looking for any user experiences with the Sonicwall 5060. This uses a new SonicOS 3.0 that is supposed to include deep filtering along with stateful packet inspection. We have about 400 users on our LAN and would like to use this as our firewall. Currnetly using what was AxcentRaptor, that is now a Microsoft product. Having a Microsoft firewall is kind of an oxymoron,
The Sonicwall 5060 has many features we would like including the ability to control and track web surfing, inspect pop3 email, and other goodies and what I guess is not terned unified threat management.
We currently use a Sonicwall ProVX to manage our VPN with small site offices and have been happy with this product. However I am concerned if Sonicwall is prepared to be an "enterprise" firewall for the size network we have.
