Is there a way to sniff either a gmail password or message text that passes through a Linux firewall (iptables) or proxy server (proxy runs squid).
The gmail.com site is encrypted using 128-bit SSL encryption, thus rendering the sniffing of packets containing passwords useless (unless you know of a crack for SSL encryption)
