This is mainly a bug fix, but it's big since 2.0.0.9 completely blocked the internet connection in many cases.

Does PC tools use much in the way of resources? I had it installed at one point but that was when NOD was finding viruses in the previous edition so I never got to actually see it in action. Does it slow down the machine and/or use a lot of resources?

Thanks.

Louise

In the Vista task manager the PC Tools GUI uses less than 3 megs of memory and cpu usage fluctuates between 0% and 2%. I don't know how much memory the firewall "service" uses. I don't notice any slowdown when compared with Vista's built-in firewall.

Vista's task manager is useless wrt. memory utilization.
