outpost pro and components

Hi!

I have Outpsot Firewall 2.7 installed and it's a bit irritating. Every time computer starts there is a process that I blocked which tries to use components of two other applications to go to the network. How can I block it permanently? On list I can choose from there is only a temporary block option...

Yes. Especially irritating for me is, that they're not only opening popups to the users and their product is vulnerable to the SelfDoS attack, but Outpost even installs system services, which open Windows.

This is a security breach and NEVER should be done. Nobody does this, after he/she has read the design guide for Windows services once.

So I'm assuming, that the Outpost programmes never did. They're completely incompetent.

You'd better use the Windows-Firewall.

Yours, VB.
