The Flash movie makes the router forward anything on Port 445/TCP... Certainly disabling unwanted services and/or putting explicit filtering rules is way more straight-forward.
I suspect that you have way too much faith in the integrity of Outpost. Actually it opens up your system for new vulnerabilities, mainly DoS and local privilege escalation, but sometimes we've also seen remote compromise. Dunno why you think that the well maintained and long-term proven TCP/IP stack of Windows, based on the code of the BSD stack, should be worse.
