Hi,
I have read in an ethernet tutorial that Gb-Ethernet does not use CSMA/CD protocol when it operates in full-duplex mode, but uses that protocol only when operating in half-duplex mode. Could someone help me understand this or am I missing something? How can one achieve 1Gb rate and still not use CSMA/CD.
