What does this mean? (bgp problem)

hi, there :)

i've got a part of bgp configuration like below.

...... ! router bgp 100 no syncronization bgp log-neighbor-changes networkd x.x.x.0 neighbor y.y.y.y remote-as 200 neighbor y.y.y.y ebgp-multihop 255 neighbor y.y.y.y soft-reconfiguration inbound neighbor y.y.y.y route-map A-IN in neighbor y.y.y.y filter-list 51 in

It means allow as200 and allow it to be prepended.

Chris.

thanks chris.

but i'm still wondering why the prepended string should be allowed.

if ^200_(200_)+$ is denied or if the line is removed, what will happen?
