There are two routers connected via a T1. The corresponding interface on each router is int an up/down state. The encapsulation on both ends is PPP. A sh int on the DTE side shows:
DCD=up DSR=up DTR=up RTS=up CTS=up
A sh int on the DCE side shows
DCD=up DSR=up DTR=down RTS=down CTS=up
So the only difference is that DTR and RTS are down on the DCE side. What could this mean? What would be the best steps to troubleshoot? Thanks for any help.
