strange STP behaviour : stack port in "sh spanning-tree" output

Feb 05, 2008 2 Replies

Hi All

I have three 3750 switch connected in stack ...

Issuing "sh spanning-tree root port" only for VLAN 242 and 243 you can see stack port 1 as root port ....

This is quite stange ....

Have you ever happened something like this???

All works well but I cannot understand if this behaviour is correct...

regards

Giuseppe

p.s. in attach two useful output...

Please post show vlan and show trunk (or equivalent in IOS, something like show interface switchport).

In attahach show interfaces trunk

Thanks

Giuseppe
