show interfaces trunk cmd missing

Google probably would have saved you on this one. One of these should always work:

(privileged) show interface type mod/port switchport

-OR-

show interfaces trunk

-OR-

show interface [mod] [interface_id] trunk

The first two aren't available on all switches as you have found out.

show interface status is also good if that is available.

Well...seems that

show int status sort of helps, but I was looking for info similar to:

----not from my switch---- SW1# show interfaces trunk

Port Mode Encap Status Native vlan Gi0/1 desirable 802.1q trunking

Port Vlans allowed on trunk Gi0/1 1-4094

Port Vlans allowed and active in management domain Gi0/1 1,3-5, 49-50

Port Vlans in spanning tree forwarding state and not pruned Gi0/1 3-5,49-50

------end of cut------------------ Unfortunately these commands

show interface [mod] [interface_id] trunk or show interfaces trunk

do not work on my switches...so I was looking for something that would show similar output:(

The command on those older switches

show int faste 0/24 switchport

Gives you much the same info, just in different format.

These switches are old. Things changed for the next generation much easier and better.
